Epoxy Zinc-Rich Primer is a two-component coating composed of epoxy resin, ultra-fine zinc powder, ethyl silicate, thickeners, fillers, additives, solvents, and curing agents as the main components.
Product Features
- The coating contains high zinc content, providing excellent anti-rust performance through the electrochemical protection of zinc powder.
- Offers good mechanical properties and strong adhesion.
- Provides excellent wear resistance.
- Has good resistance to oil, water, and solvents.
- Provides excellent cathodic protection and heat resistance. During electric welding and cutting, it produces less zinc fumes, reduces burning area, and does not affect welding performance.
Product Application
Suitable for use as an anti-rust primer for steel structure surfaces in industries such as metallurgy, containers, ships, bridges, towers, oil pipelines, vehicle manufacturing, steel shot pretreatment lines, and steel structure equipment.
It can also be used as an anti-corrosion coating layer for galvanized surfaces.
